“Namaste India – 2015” Festival

The Embassy of India, Nur-Sultan and Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New Delhi in collaboration with ONGC Videsh Ltd.; Arcelor Mittal; National Art Gallery, Nur-Sultan; Kazakhstan University of Humanities and Law; Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; M/s KEC International Limited; Tea Board of India; Gateway International Inc; and M/s Fly Dubai; are organizing following cultural performances in Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Temirtau as part of “Namaste India – 2015” festival:-

i) Divine India – a presentation of Indian Fusion Music & Dance (Sitar and Kathak) by renowned Sitar Maestro Pandit Prateek Chaudhuri and eminent Kathak danseuse Anupriya Mukherjee at 

a) Kazakhstan University of Humanities and Law, Nur-Sultan on April 2, 2015 at 1500 hrs. 
b) National Art Gallery, Nur-Sultan on April 3, 2015 at 1900 hrs.  

ii) Manipuri Folk Dance – Dhol Cholom, Pung Cholom and Thang-ta dance performance led by Mr. Santosh Kumar from Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy. 

a) Alfarabi University, Almaty on April 2, 2015 at 1900 hrs. 
b) National Art Gallery, Nur-Sultan on April 4, 2015 at 1830 hrs. 
c) City Palace, Temirtau, Karaganda on April 5, 2015 at 1530 hrs.
