Ambassador Shubhdarshini Tripathi visits Kokshetau and Burabay

Ambassador Shubhadarshini Tripathi visited Kazakh Defence Industries ‘TYNYS’ JSC Kokshetau, North Kazakhstan on 27 July. She was received by the General Director Mr Anvar Sultangareyev. Ambassador was provided a briefing on the plant and its facilities and taken in a conducted tour of the Plant.

Ambassador Shubhadarshini Tripathi visited Burabay National Park on the invitation of ‘Burabay Damu LLC’ under the Administration of the President of Republic of Kazakhstan. Ambassador was received by the General Director Mr Yerlan Ospanov who provided a briefing on the activities of Burabay National Park amd its various facilities. Measures on cooperation in the field of promoting tourism from both sides were also discussed. Ambassador also visited various historical sites and attractions of Burabay.

Nagendra Prasad held talks with Health Minister Ms Akmaral Alnazarova on the sidelines at 7th SCO Health Ministers' conference in Astana to discuss issues of mutual interest to strengthen bilateral cooperation between India and Kazakhstan.

The Embassy of India participated in the Diplomatic Charity Bazaar organized by the Ambassadors Spouses Association (ASA),#Astana. Indian Stall with its incredible and diverse culture, food and handicrafts attracted very high footfall. Spouses & Officers @indembastana led by Ms Padmavathi did an excellent job at the bazaar.
The Embassy of India in Astana organised Tea and Coffee Festival in Astana at the Mega Silk Way. The festival provided an opportunity for people in Kazakhstan to experience and appreciate Indian culture through its tea and coffee traditions. The event showed various types of teas and coffees, the brewing methods, and the cultural significance behind these beverages.
A media interaction was held in Embassy of India, Astana Ambassador Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad in his address touched upon economic growth of India and the strategic partnership and potential for deepening India-Kazakhstan relations, followed by Q&A.
Ambassador Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad met with Dr. Akhylbek Kurishbayev, Chairman of the Board - Rector of NJSC Kazakh National Agrarian Research University in Almaty today and discussed bilateral relations of mutual interest between India and Kazakhstan.
Ambassador @nagentv met with Mr. Kairat Sadvakassov, Acting chairman of Kazakh Tourism at the Embassy and discussed means of enhancing prospects of tourism between India and Kazakhstan and also some training courses for Kazakh officials in India.
Ambassador Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad met the Chairman of the Investment Committee of MFA, Mr Ardak Zebeshev. The topics of mutual collaboration and Kazakhstan's investment potential were discussed by both parties
An impressive closing ceremony marked the conclusion of Ex KAZIND-2023. Ambassador addressed the contingents of both countries and interacted with organising staff and participants.
