Hindi Day Celebration - With the aim of promoting the Hindi language, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, Indian Embassy in Astana, celebrated Hindi Day on September 20, 2023.

As part of this celebration, Hindi essay writing and poetry recitation, competitions were organized. During the event, a cultural program was also conducted, featuring performances by both Kazakh and Indian singers who presented Hindi songs. At the end of the event, prizes were awarded to all participants.

The chief guests for the program were Honorable Ambassador and his wife, Mrs. Padmavathi Thatipamula. The program witnessed active participation of the Embassy, and Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center officials as well as local residents.

Ambassador Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad met with Dr. Akhylbek Kurishbayev, Chairman of the Board - Rector of NJSC Kazakh National Agrarian Research University in Almaty today and discussed bilateral relations of mutual interest between India and Kazakhstan.
Ambassador @nagentv met with Mr. Kairat Sadvakassov, Acting chairman of Kazakh Tourism at the Embassy and discussed means of enhancing prospects of tourism between India and Kazakhstan and also some training courses for Kazakh officials in India.

An impressive closing ceremony marked the conclusion of Ex KAZIND-2023. Ambassador addressed the contingents of both countries and interacted with organising staff and participants.
Ambassador Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad met with Mr. Gabit Syzdykbekov, Akim of Shymkent city, during his visit to Shymkent - the third metropolis in Kazakhstan with 2200 years of history, and discussed bilateral relations of mutual interest between India and Kazakhstan, including the concept of Smart City Project.
The Ambassador Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad visited the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC). During the visit, the Ambassador met with the Governor of the AIFC Mr. Renat Bekturov (@renat.bekturov), and discussed areas of collaboration, including boosting commerce, registering businesses, attracting investments, and fostering economic cooperation.
DPM-FM H.E. Mr Murat Nurtleu participated in the 2nd Voice of the Global South Summit.
Sh Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor, led the Indian delegation which participated in the Second India-Central Asia Meeting of National Security Advisors/ Secretaries of the Security Council held at Astana. Productive discussions were held on a wide range of issues in multilateral and bilateral format.
On October 18, the Ambassador addressed the international conference organized by the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation dedicated to the Day of Spiritual Harmony on the theme: "Spiritual harmony is the basis of peace and unity in the face of challenges of modern society.
ITEC DAY
Ambassador Dr T.V. Nagendra Prasad met Mr. Bagdat Mussin, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The parties discussed the cooperation in number of spheres including digital public infrastructure, aerospace industry, telecommunications, etc.
Ambassador, Dr TV Nagendra Prasad called on Col Gen Ruslan Zhaksylykov, Defence Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. They had a productive discussion on the full range of Defence and Defence-Industrial Cooperation. The discussions underscored the significance of growing India-Kazakhstan relations
