Indian delegation comprising Ms Roli Singh, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Ambassador Dr T.V. Nagendra Prasad held talks with Health Minister Ms Akmaral Alnazarova on the sidelines at 7th SCO Health Ministers' conference in Astana to discuss issues of mutual interest to strengthen bilateral cooperation between India and Kazakhstan.

The 5th Meeting of the India-Kazakhstan Joint Working Group on Counter-Terrorism was held in Astana. The sides exchanged views on counter-terrorism measures, potential threats in the region and coordination of responses including the use of new and emerging technologies.
Ambassador Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad participated in the Eid festivities in Almaty, hosted by the newly formed Board of Indian Chambers of Culture & Commerce (Incham), Kazakhstan.
Ambassador Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad interacted with Indian Medicos who joined this year at various medical universities in Almaty at the orientation program organised by the Indian Embassy.
During the visit to historic Fesenkov Astrophysical Institute, Almaty Ambassador Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad had productive discussions on potential India-Kazakhstan collaborations in space research.
The grandeur of the 75th ICCR Foundation Day was celebrated at Astana Medical University with dignitaries Ambassador Dr T V Nagendra Prasad and Mr Kamalzhan Nadyrov, Chairman of the Board and Rector of the AMU.
Shri Ajit Doval, NSA held cordial and productive discussions with Secretaries of Security Councils of Russia Nikolai Patrushev and Iran Ali Akbar Ahmadian on issues of mutual interest. Also held informal interactions with Secretaries of other SCO Member States.
On the sidelines of SCO Meeting in Astana, Shri Ajit Doval, NSA held productive discussions with his Kazakh counterpart, Mr Gizat Nurdauletov on deepening existing India-Kazakhstan cooperation and launching initiatives in new & emerging areas.
Shri Ajit Doval, NSA led an Indian delegation at the 19th Meeting of Secretaries of the Security Council of SCO Member States in Astana, Kazakhstan. NSA Ajit Doval also called on the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev along with Representatives of other Member States.
Ambassador Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad took part at #Almatydigital and also delivered the Statement of India at 'SCO Digital Forum'.

Ambassador of India, Dr TV Nagendra Prasad had an interaction with HE Ms Giniyat Azhar, Minister of Healthcare to discuss the opportunities to strengthen the ongoing India-Kazakhstan cooperation in the healthcare sphere
The Embassy of India participated in the Diplomatic Charity Bazaar organized by the Ambassadors Spouses Association (ASA),#Astana. Indian Stall with its incredible and diverse culture, food and handicrafts attracted very high footfall. Spouses & Officers @indembastana led by Ms Padmavathi did an excellent job at the bazaar.
The Embassy of India in Astana organised Tea and Coffee Festival in Astana at the Mega Silk Way. The festival provided an opportunity for people in Kazakhstan to experience and appreciate Indian culture through its tea and coffee traditions. The event showed various types of teas and coffees, the brewing methods, and the cultural significance behind these beverages.
A media interaction was held in Embassy of India, Astana Ambassador Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad in his address touched upon economic growth of India and the strategic partnership and potential for deepening India-Kazakhstan relations, followed by Q&A.
