H.E. Dr. T.V Nagendra Prasad assumed charge as Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan upon arrival in Astana on 17 September 2023.
Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan Dr. T.V Nagendra Prasad, upon arrival in Astana, paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at the Rowing Kanal Embankment facing the iconic monument to the Defenders of Motherland of Kazakhstan, along with colleagues from the Mission.
Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan H.E. Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad met with H.E. Mr. Alibek Bakayev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and presented a copy of Letter of Credentials. They discussed entire gamut of India-Kazakhstan relations.
Hindi Day Celebration - With the aim of promoting the Hindi language, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, Indian Embassy in Astana, celebrated Hindi Day on September 20, 2023.
As part of this celebration, Hindi essay writing and poetry recitation, competitions were organized. During the event, a cultural program was also conducted, featuring performances by both Kazakh and Indian singers who presented Hindi songs. At the end of the event, prizes were awarded to all participants.
The chief guests for the program were Honorable Ambassador and his wife, Mrs. Padmavathi Thatipamula. The program witnessed active participation of the Embassy, and Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center officials as well as local residents.
Amb. Dr. TV Nagendra Prasad at an event organized by Indian community interacted with members working in wide spectrum of fields in Astana and contributing to strengthen India-Kazakhstan relations. The community shared their experiences and suggested on vast scope for furthering relations.
