The Embassy of India in Kazakhstan is pleased to announce the launch of the 83rd edition of the Know India Programme (KIP), which will be organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, from 10 to 28 November 2025.

The Know India Programme (KIP) is a flagship initiative of the Ministry that aims to engage and reconnect the Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) in the age group of 21 to 35 years with their ancestral roots and to present the diversity, vibrant culture, and dynamic progress of India. Since its inception in 2003, the KIP has successfully hosted over 80 editions and welcomed more than 2,900 youth PIO participants from across the world.

This three-week programme offers participants an opportunity to:

• Visit various parts of India and experience its rich cultural heritage;
• Interact with key institutions in the fields of Art, Culture, Economy, Science & Technology, Start-ups, and Innovation;
• Engage with Indian youth and professionals;
• Understand India’s journey towards becoming a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age between 21 and 35 years
• Should be a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or hold an OCI card
• Should not have previously participated in any KIP
• At least graduate or enrolled in undergraduate course
• Proficient in English

Application Process:

As the KIP Portal (https://kip.gov.in) is currently under maintenance, applications will be accepted via email only (copy of the form attached).
Interested candidates from Kazakhstan are requested to submit the following documents to the Embassy of India, Kazakhstan by 19 October 2025:

• Duly filled Application Form
• Copy of Passport
• Copy of OCI/PIO Card
• Educational qualification certificate(s)
• Recent passport-sized colour photograph
• Contact details (Email and phone number)

Shortlisted candidates will be nominated by the Embassy to the Ministry of External Affairs by 24 October 2025. All documents must be submitted in scanned format and countersigned by the Embassy where applicable.
