Public Notice Regarding Tourist Visa

Foreign Nationals intending to visit India for tourism purposes will be allowed to enter into India on e-Tourist Visa/ Tourist Visa through chartered flights (for group tourism only) from 15 October 2021.

2. All individual foreign nationals intending to travel to India for tourism purposes through any scheduled/non-scheduled commercial flights would be permitted to enter in India from 15 November 2021.

3. This relaxation mentioned above para 1&2 would be applicable only to the e-Tourist/Tourist visa issued on or after 06 October 2021.

4. The foreign nationals intending to travel to India would be required to obtain a fresh e-Tourist/Regular Tourist Visa from Bureau of Immigration or Missions/Posts abroad. Existing e-Tourist/Regular Tourist Visa continue to remain suspended till further updates.

5. Such Foreign Nationals may be granted fresh e-Tourist/Regular Tourist Visa for 30 days by Bureau of Immigration or Missions/Posts abroad.

6. First 500,000(5 lakh) Tourist visa(e-visa, regular visa & visa on arrival) will be issued free of any charges on Gratis basis. No foreign National can take benefit of Gratis visa more than once.
