90th Know India Programme (KIP) for Young Indian Diaspora  October er 18, 2026 to October 31, 2026. 

The Embassy of India is pleased to announce the 90th edition of the Know India Programme (KIP), to be organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India (GOI), from October 18, 2026 to October 31, 2026. 

2. The Know India Programme is a flagship initiative of the Government of India aimed at strengthening the engagement of young members of the Indian diaspora with their ancestral roots and providing them an opportunity to experience India’s rich cultural heritage, economic transformation, innovation, start-up ecosystem, and scientific and technological advancements. Under the revised KIP guidelines, the eligibility age has been revised from 21–35 years to 18–28 years, with two separate cohorts: 18–23 years (Scholars and Innovators) and 24–28 years (Young Professionals) for a period of two weeks form October er 18, 2026 to October 31, 2026. 
3. The Programme will provide participants with an opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to India’s development and transformation under the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, while encouraging them to connect with and contribute to India’s ongoing developmental journey. 
4. The Government of India will bear 90% of the airfare (excursion fare economy class) and the remaining 10% will be required to be borne by the applicant. In addition, GOI will provide local hospitality (including boarding and lodging, internal transport, airport transfers and visa on gratis basis.
